5. Optimal Health and the Issues of Politics, Sex, and Religion
Dr. Victor Jean Ouellette, DC, MS, DNM, RNP
February 14, 2009
Undoubtedly the three topics of politics, sex, and religion have a part to play in health. However, these topics are laden with much emotion and much cultural bias. It can even be argued that these issues offer very little in the way of intellectual or scientific pursuit. The LIA project and THE Q questionnaire do not make any attempt to measure these three issues.
LIA instructors have a narrow focus on the LIA Action Plan which will not have any comments on these three issues. This approach avoids much controversy and focusses on the issues that can be successfully modified in a lifestyle improvement program. The many sociological and psychological issues that impact on health are best dealt with, in our opinion, through community efforts that rely on science to lead the way.
People need help.
LIA offers that help.

To become involved with the LIA Project, please send us an email. We need people to talk to their provincial members of parliament to ask them to have a look at the LIA web site and support the start up of the LIA Project.
