Chiropractors have a science background in pre chiropractic courses before they attend intensive training in chiropractic schools. Chiropractors spend 7 years after secondary school before they graduate.      The chiropractic profession has traditionally been know to be the science of searching for spinal subluxations. Chiropractors are considered a PRIMARY contact profession.  That means you do not need any medical or other referral to see a chiropractor.

In Canada, chiropractors are one of the five professions legally allowed to call themselves Doctor and give a diagnosis to a patient. The other four are Dentists, Medical Physicians, Optometrists, and Psychologists.      Chiropractors scientifically correct subluxations, usually by hand. The word chiropractic comes from two Greek words and means, “Done By Hand”.
